- Business After Hours
Hosted by a different Chamber member business each month, this casual, after hours event is always a fun time to catch up with colleagues, or serve as host and showcase your products and/or services. (5:30-7 pm, 3rd Wednesdays)
- Legal & Financial Forum
An informative, engaging event held quarterly for those in the legal, financial or related industries. The event features presentations by noted experts in their field (quarterly, 5:30-7, 3rd Thursdays)
- Food For Thought & Here's To Your Health lectures
A series of educational events for the entire community, with guest speakers covering a range of topics and food and beverage provided by co-sponsor The Fresh Market.
- Annual Holiday Party & Silent Auction
The Chamber kicks off the holiday season each year with the festive holiday event. Networking, friendly bidding, sampling the delicious food showcase of local eateries and food businesses, plus the anticipation of the Holly Bucks drawing, make this a do-not-miss annual event. Chamber members are invited to promote their products and services through silent auction donations. (5:30-8:00, November 15)

- Chamber Gift Certificates
The perfect gift for every occasion and all ages – and a great way to keep dollars in our communities. Certificates are sold at the Chamber office in $20 denominations and can be redeemed at any member merchant. (We sell tens of thousands of dollars worth each year!)
- “Shop Local First!”
Our national award-winning initiative was designed to bring shoppers into members’ businesses and raise awareness about keeping dollars in our local economy. After submitting evidence of $250 in purchases one can enter to win $500 in Chamber gift certificates – a great jump start to the holiday shopping season!
- New Resident Welcome Box
An opportunity exclusively for our Chamber member – promotional materials are delivered to an estimated 400 new households in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff.

- The Chamber’s Community Website
Every Chamber business is listed in our online business directory free of charge. Additionally, members can create business profiles with detailed contact information, social media links, videos, photos, maps, directions, and much more. The site also promotes members’ "Hot Deals", special offers and events can be promoted. There are no fees for these enhanced services.
- Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Community Guide
This is THE annual guide for both Lake Forest and Lake Bluff delivered in the spring to every business and residence in our communities (approx. 14,000 copies). In addition to civic information and community contacts it also features an alphabetical and categorical listing of all Chamber members, free of charge. For those desiring a greater presence, display advertising is available exclusively for Chamber members.
- Annual Shopping & Dining Guide
This valuable brochure is particularly popular with guests to our communities, listing shopping and dining establishments in the business districts of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff. It contains maps of the districts as well as contact information. It is mailed to every household and business and available in quantity for members' use.
- Social Media & Newsbriefs
Our regular e-newsletter offers the opportunity for members to share their news with our email network of over 1,400 people – simply forward up to 35 words with a hyperlink or PDF for more information and we’ll be happy to pass it on. And let us share your news through Facebook (4,000+ followers), Twitter (1,000+) along with Instagram.

Your membership investment is based on number of employees, including owners, partners, proprietors, commissioned salespeople, etc., with two part-time employees equaling one full-time equivalent. If your business is seasonal, then the average number of employees during your non-peak period should be used. Non-profit organizations pay 80% of the regular rates.
