Lake/Forest Lake Bluff Chamber: Tell us a little bit about Paige’s In-Home Pet Care, the services you offer and what makes your business unique?
Paige & Max: Paige’s In-Home Pet Care is a locally owned, premium pet care provider serving Lake Forest and the surrounding communities. Our services include in-home dog sitting, dog walking, and cat sitting - allowing pets to stay in the comfort of their own homes and routines while their owners are away. Our team is fully insured, bonded, and background checked, and every visit includes detailed report cards, high-quality photos, and GPS-tracked walks, so clients always know their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.
LF/LB: What inspired you to open this business in our community?
P&M: We are both huge animal lovers and have a family of rescue pets (1 dog, 2 cats). Like many pet owners, we’ve experienced both exceptional care and disappointing care with our own pets. Those experiences inspired us to raise the standard for what professional pet care should look like in the area. Our pets are family, and we built Paige’s In-Home Pet Care around the level of care, reliability, and communication we would expect for our own animals. Bringing that standard to our local community felt like a natural and meaningful next step!
LF/LB: What is your vision or hope for the future of your business?
P&M: The response from our clients has been incredibly encouraging, and our hope is to continue growing in a thoughtful, community-focused way. We want to keep making a positive impact on the lives of pets and their families while expanding our services responsibly. Looking ahead, we’re also excited to deepen our involvement with local animal rescues and shelters and find more ways to support animal welfare throughout the community.
LF/LB: How does Paige’s In-Home Pet Care plan to get involved in or support our community?
P&M: Community involvement is very important to us. We love participating in local events, whether that’s hosting free pup cups at the dog park, partnering with local pet stores, or volunteering alongside animal shelters and rescue organizations. We’re also proud to employ Lake Forest College students and local residents, creating flexible job opportunities while keeping our business rooted in the community we serve.
LF/LB: Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself, your team or your business
P&M: At the heart of our business is a dedicated team of animal lovers who truly care about the pets and families they serve. We’re grateful for the trust our clients place in us and for the opportunity to build long-term relationships within the Lake Forest and Lake Bluff communities. We’re always available and would love to meet you and your pets, or just chat about pet care!
