Member Spotlight: Adam Dlatt & Ira Fenton, Co-owners, Once Upon a Bagel

 

Lake/Forest Lake Bluff Chamber:  Tell us a little bit about Once Upon a Bagel and what makes your restaurant unique?

Adam & Ira: We have been family owned since 1982 when we began our dream of the Once Upon Family of Restaurants, We made several promises ... We dedicated ourselves to providing clean and inviting atmospheres with pleasant and efficient service where you always see the same friendly faces - a place where every customer would feel at home. We also dedicated ourselves to providing food that is not only delicious but mouthwatering and addicting. We offer healthy, authentic food that's prepared right before your eyes. Our food is so delicious that it speaks for itself and makes you want to come back.

 

LF/LB: What inspired you to open a location in Lake Forest?

A&I: It was an honor as we had many request from the community- so many of our loyal customers frequented other locations so we wanted to accommodate them.

 

LF/LB: What is your vision or hope for the future of your business?

A&I: We will be opening soon in Arlington Heights and can’t wait to continue to expand in other locations around the area and to expand our brand and to help support all of the communities we are involved with.
