Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Chamber: Tell us a little bit about Kristie Jorfald Style and the services you offer.

Kristie Jorfald:
Kristie Jorfald Style is a luxury wardrobe branding agency that helps high-performing individuals fully align how they show up with the story they’re here to tell. My clients include professional athletes, WAGs, media personalities, and entrepreneurs who are either already in the spotlight or about to step into it—and they want to make sure their visual identity is as clear, confident, and elevated as the brand they’re building.

Whether we’re curating an entire seasonal wardrobe, designing a one-of-a-kind game day piece, or preparing someone for their first national appearance or photo shoot, I approach every look with intention, storytelling, and emotional intelligence. My clients aren’t looking for trends—they’re looking for truth in what they wear.

What sets my work apart is access. I’ve built direct partnerships with global fashion houses like Chanel, Hermès, YSL, Celine, Louis Vuitton, Brunello Cucinelli, Fendi, Ferragamo, plus 200+ more top luxury designers. These relationships allow me to offer clients rare pieces, exclusive fittings, and designer-backed moments they wouldn’t get anywhere else.

I also founded Tour de Chic, a sister service dedicated to luxury travel styling. Whether it’s a honeymoon in Capri, a family summer in the Hamptons, or a girls’ trip to Tulum, we make sure our clients are styled head-to-toe for every destination—and every photo.

LF/LB: What was your inspiration to start a business in the style industry?
KJ:
I’ve worked in fashion as a stylist for nearly two decades, styling everyone from CBS News anchors, Iron Chefs and television actors to artists like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé—and what I’ve learned is that great style is never just about the clothes. It’s about what they unlock.

Clients come to me to elevate their visibility, confidence, influence, and profits. Whether they’re stepping into the public eye, launching a brand or book, or preparing for a high-stakes moment, they’re not just looking for a great outfit—they’re ready to be seen. With a background in literature and education, I approach styling as both strategy and storytelling.

I help clients shop for their body shape, discover their style personality, and use wardrobe as a tool to attract the next level of their life or business. At its core, my mission is simple: to help people get dressed for the life they want—with clarity, confidence, and presence.

LF/LB: What is your vision or hope for the future of your business?
KJ:

After years of building my business in Los Angeles and working with clients across the country, I recently returned to Lake Forest—the town that raised me—to root everything I’ve built in the place that first shaped my style, identity, and values.

My vision is to continue serving clients nationally while growing something deeply personal and elevated here on the North Shore. I’m launching luxury in-person styling events and curated pop-ups—designed to bring designer access and seasonal wardrobe curation directly to this community. I’m also expanding my Access Club for digital clients and working toward opening a private styling atelier in Lake Forest—where luxury, discretion, and personal transformation all come together in one space.

LF/LB: How does Kristie Jorfald Style plan to give back to the community?
KJ:

Giving back is a core part of why I returned home. I’m planning to host Shop for a Cause events throughout the year, where a portion of proceeds will support local nonprofits and women’s health initiatives that are making a meaningful impact in our community.

I’m also developing mentorship opportunities for students and young creatives in the area—those curious about fashion, entrepreneurship, or branding but unsure where to begin. I didn’t have a clear roadmap when I started, so I’m passionate about helping others carve their own path with confidence and support.

LF/LB: Is there anything else you would like to share about your team or your business?
KJ:

My styling work is supported by a curated team of expert tailors, glam artists, and luxury brand partners who help bring each client’s vision to life. Whether I’m dressing a WAG for the sidelines, an NFL player for walk-out moments, a CEO for her media debut, or a mom stepping into her next season of confidence, every look is built on trust, strategy, and storytelling.

Because when you look good, you feel good—and that glow doesn’t just light up a room. It invites the world to see you the way you were meant to be seen.
