LF/LB: Tell us about Chicago Pumpkins and what makes your business unique
BW: Chicago Pumpkins is a concierge pumpkin design and delivery service that transforms porches and entryways into stunning fall displays. What makes us unique is our attention to detail and white-glove service, every porch is custom-styled, installed with care, and designed to create a warm, welcoming impression. From small, charming arrangements to full luxury packages, our goal is to make festive decorating effortless and unforgettable for our clients.
LF/LB: What was your inspiration to start your business in this community?
BW: It began in 2020 as a family tradition when Brittany and Ryan Woods decorated their own porch and those of friends and neighbors. The joy those displays brought sparked the idea to turn a family passion into a business. Seeing how a thoughtfully designed porch can make a home feel more welcoming, and bring smiles to passersby, inspired us to create Chicago Pumpkins.
LF/LB: What is your hope and vision for the future of your business?
BW: Our vision is to continue growing Chicago Pumpkins into a North Shore tradition that families and businesses look forward to each fall. Beyond porches, we hope to expand across all Chicago suburbs, storefronts, and community partnerships. Ultimately, we want to be known as the go-to service for creating memorable, magazine-worthy fall décor that makes people smile year after year.
LF/LB: How does Chicago Pumpkins plan to give back to the community?
BW: Community is at the heart of what we do. Each season, we plan to donate a portion of proceeds to local causes, and we’re excited to partner with community events where pumpkins can bring a little extra joy.
