Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Chamber: Tell us a little bit about Faherty. What makes your brand unique?

Amy Pasquesi: Faherty is a family-owned business built on quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability. We’re known for creating soft, sustainable clothing for both men and women. Faherty designs apparel for life’s greatest moments, combining comfort with conscious responsibility.

 

LF/LB: What inspired Faherty to open a Lake Forest location?

AP: Lake Forest is the perfect place for a Faherty store. Both the community and our brand share strong values rooted in family and connection. We’re one of the few stores that serve both men and women, and we aim to make everyone who walks through our doors feel like they’re entering a friend’s home. One of our core values is authenticity, we always strive to be our true selves and bring positive energy to everyone we meet. We hope people come in not only to see the clothes, but also to experience that welcoming spirit.

 

LF/LB: What is your vision or hope for the future of your business?

AP: I hope to continue building meaningful relationships within Lake Forest and the surrounding communities. Faherty is always looking for local small businesses to collaborate with on events. So far, we’ve partnered with a leather maker, a watchmaker, and a local musician. I encourage anyone interested in collaborating to reach out — we’d love to connect!

 

LF/LB: How does Faherty plan to support the community?

AP: The Lake Forest community has welcomed us warmly, and we’ve truly enjoyed giving back. We’ve provided donations to nonprofits and hosted a give-back event for the LFHS Booster Club. Community involvement is an important part of who we are.

 

LF/LB: Is there anything else you would like to share about Faherty?

AP: Faherty is proud to have achieved B Corporation certification. To become a B Corp, a company must undergo a rigorous assessment covering governance, community engagement, environmental responsibility, worker treatment, and customer care. This certification reflects how seriously our owners take accountability and their commitment to operating with integrity.
