Trading Spaces: Understanding the Social and Emotional Aspect for a Successful Transition to High School at Lake Forest High School in the David Miller Theatre. The challenges of moving on to high school can be overwhelming. Come hear from the experts and those who have "been there and done that". This will be a frank discussion of the social and emotional issues that students will face as they "trade spaces" from middle school to high school. The panel will include representatives from LFHS, CROYA and LEAD plus a parent and current LFHS students. Parents from all local middle schools, public and private, are welcome to attend. Sponsored by Lake Forest District 67 Parent Awareness, Lake Bluff PTO, LFHS APT, and LEAD.
For parents of children in 8th grade who will attend high school in the Fall. Free of charge, no registration required.
