Deerpath Farm event Time: 2:00pm Deerpath Farm hosts "Building Green From the Ground Up" event. The program will be held at 26403 North Farwell on the grounds of the new Deerpath Farm conservation development in Lake Forest. Attendees will hear guest speakers and have an opportunity to meet with experts in the field, as well as be entered to win $500 toward an energy efficient Energy Star certified washer or other appliance. Speakers will include award-winning architect Rick Phillips, FAIA, developer of Deerpath Farm and host of the event. Additional speakers will be architects William Sturm, AIA, co-founder of Serena Sturm and William Bickford, AIA co-founder of DePree Bickford Associates. All will give brief presentations and answer questions from the audience. Additional guests who will also be available to take questions include Stephen Christy, Landscape and Ecological Consultant and former director of the Lake Forest Open Lands Association, David Richmond, President Environmental Community Consultants (ECCI) and a certified RESNET Energy Rater for the EPA's Energy Star program, and Sharon Roscher, Architectural Representative of Marvin Windows for the Chicago area.
