Songwriting Workshops
Write Like a Rock Star! Songwriting Workshops at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. for Grades 3-6

What's the secret to transforming a blank sheet of paper into a poem, story or report? PBS veteran and award-winning singer/songwriter Thaddeus Rex loves to teach the art of creative writing. His interactive hour-long workshop engages everyone in the room as children brainstorm ideas and collectively write a song. Students will write and record a song, and have it available as an mp3.
